Eileen Balaban-Eisenberg

Executive Vice-President, The Connaught Group

In her role as Executive Vice President, Eileen is responsible for worldwide production and importation of all of the collections, including Carlisle, Per Se and Etcetera.

She manages a global production team from her Manhattan office, overseeing all aspects of each collection's development, from its inception and design to its fabrication and delivery. Her management responsibilities also include overseeing operations at the Connaught Group. She holds seats on Connaught's executive board as well as on the collection review committees where decisions are made surrounding the content of the line, season after season.

Eileen joined Connaught in 1989 as Production Manager for the Carlisle Collection. She swiftly made her way up the ladder, becoming Vice President of Production in April 2002 and advancing to her current position as Executive Vice President of the Connaught Group in 2004.

Eileen is driven by a steadfast desire to exceed client expectations. As she points out, "I enjoy working with our worldwide team and partners to ensure that we are creating collections with details that will delight our clients, time after time. We are a company that has our clientele 'top of mind' 24/7 and it shows in our collections. The best part is that I'm surrounded by colleagues who are equally focused on finding new ways to impress our clients, and we feed off of each other. The energy is contagious!"

She began her career with the R.H. Macy Company in 1977. After completing that company's management training program, she worked in its private label group. In that position, she traveled the world, building her expertise in importation as well as in the design and manufacture of women's finer sportswear.

Eileen attended Hebrew University in Israel, earning a double degree in economics and international relations before earning an additional degree in art education at Rutgers University.
